Location is bit far away from the city if you have a car then no problem , there is free parking and the great thing is you would have lovely city view. "We enjoyed staying at this quirky guest house. We were warmly met by the friendly owner and had plenty of space to hang out for the day we were there, waiting to catch a shuttle to Belize City. I say quirky because in our mini apartment, there was a bed in the kitchen ( as well as our bed in the bedroom), and there is an old US school bus in the garden. But it felt quirky rather than derelict. It's a 5min taxi ride to the bus terminal in town or a 20-minute walk. We chose the Taxi option. It's also close to a good bakery, and you can see the supermarket from the hammocks in the garden. There is a fabulous restaurant called Hambre which is a 20 min walk."

There was nothing we didn't like, but this place will not appeal to everyone. It feels local, and maybe a little dated, but it was spacious, safe, and clean, and everything we needed.

"This beautiful, historic mountain farm was beautifully kept by the owners. Everyone was friendly. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The home cooked food was delicious."

Beautiful dark wood colonial style in the bedroom, very cool but for those of us of a certain age a bit too dark

"Location was very tropical and peaceful … nicely tucked away. Tony is an amazing service person and goes above and beyond. He’s very attentive he’s a great resource for things to do as well."

The cleanliness and the condition of furniture need an upgrade! The cabinet needs to be ripped out and replaced, stove and items need a deep clean and shower needs a proper shower head sorta spittled as opposed to showered.

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

"The scenery is peaceful and restful. The loft was impecably clean and cozy. Jean's recommendations on Hue were spot on. On top of that, I really welcomed the experience of being part of the household's routine, it was really nice to be able to share a meal and play with the kids. It's a little bit far from town, but nothing that a Grab can't resolve it. The overall experience makes up for it. I wish Tam Tinh Vien the very best!"

On the second day there was a slight smell in the bathroom but nothing too serious , a little plumbing will sort that out !

Always attentive, giving advice on what to visit in the area, making your stay as easy, comfortable, and pleasant as possible. The guesthouse itself is spotless, the location ideal — I can only say everything was perfect."

There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !
