"Service was amazing and the staff were very helpful and nice. Rooms were very good for what you pay. Nice location and was clean."

"Food can be improved. It was not bad but there is room for improvement"

"The hotel has a weathered charm that shows its experience through the staff who are eager to please. The food has been the best I've had so far in Sri Lanka (after visiting Negombo and Kandy). The atmosphere is laid back and tranquil where one can enjoy waking up to birds chirping and water running from the river that touches the property. The staff are aware of some of the hotels shortcomings and go out of their way to make your experience a pleasant one."

"The hotel shows its age in the rooms. The WiFi goes out and sometimes never works again. One second power cuts are frequent. I believe these issues may be due to poor infrastructure in the area and the hotel shouldn't be blamed."

"Beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature. The staff were friendly, and the food was amazing. Perfect spot to relax and unwind."

"Nothing major, just a bit pricey."

"The host is bright and professional. Right from our small talk during check-in, she quickly grasped our needs and provided all the necessary support. Everything was perfectly arranged—from a tuk-tuk for the suburbs and a car to Kandy, to dinner restaurant recommendation. The room was meticulously prepared and kept in excellent condition, making our stay incredibly comfortable."
