"The best possible place to stay in the old San Marino town. Stunning atmosphere (it seems like a heart of the local community, a lot of people coming to the bar to chat, nicely live place, an old family ristorante and lodgement. The accommodation is authentic (and nicely clean), a lot of wood, nothing supermodern, but it even makes the traveller to feel like in old times, very nice! Super price including breakfast, we can fully recommend. And if you are a football (calcio) fan, come and spend some time in the bar and have a chat with Fabio ;-) sport makes the bridges among different cultures and nations :-) and you can park the car safely nearby for free during the night (at least now, in February, low season)."

"Location cannot be beat unless you wish to be in San Marino City itself at the top of the hill. This small restaurant hotel is a few minutes from the cable car to the summit. I walked up twice; once by the shorter route to the right as you walk up behind the hotel and once the much longer but very enjoyable circuit to the left. The latter is moderate difficulty. I’d dinner twice and it was some of the best sea food I’ve had in a long time. Staff don’t speak much English but luckily I have some Italian."

"Breakfast is basic cold fare without any healthy options: a lot of sugar and refined carbs! Room was very cold on the last morning and, as often commented upon, the noise from other guests can be a little annoying. Communications with the hotel before arrival were non existent and they could give directions from the bus as it is only a few minutes walk from one of the stops before the bus climbs to the top."

"Incredible location close to cable car, amazing views close by and free parking. Very authentic place with friendly staff, nice and warm with restaurant in situ for dinner and breakfast."

"Super location in Borgio Maggiore, few steps from Funivia station. Free parking space, except Thursday's. Great stuff. This was our second stay in Ostaria da Lino. Surely, we would not come back if they don't offer good value for money. See you on next occasion!"

"Authentic old buildings and bar, good-sized bedrooms and simple but adequate breakfast. Reception were able to arrange taxis which was helpful. Hotel was in a local square with another bar which local people used - nice way to finish the evening. Photo refers."

"So cozy restaurant. Location was SUPER we hiked the path from borgo maggiore to old city and the views were amazing. Place is also next to cable car. We asked vegan breafkast when we booked the place day before our trip to san marino and they let us have vegan croissants👌🏼"
