"Lovely Hotel in the centre of Uddevalla, really handy for my onward journey access to road 44. Very clean and comfortable, amazing breakfast and beautiful decor/furniture Will use again, sure beats the large chain cloned rooms in modern hotels! highly recommended."

"We arrived on motorbikes soaked through and the staff were kind and helpful and helped with extra towels. The hotel was like a wonderful step back in time with gorgeous antique furnishings and the room was so quiet and cosy. Comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. A wonderful stopover."

"Very easy to find. The building seemed to have plenty of interesting furniture and other artefacts. There were several beautifully furnished rooms in which to relax, as well as the dining area. The breakfast was superbly prepared and laid out, with an almost infinite choice."

"It is a lovely tiny hotel in an old building, conveniently located next to the train station. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and cozy. Recommended :)"

"Breakfast was good and had nice unexpected features such as warm wafels one could prepare oneself. Also at least 8 types of krackers, 8 types of high quality confiture,, but also booled egg with shrimp and caviar. Free parking at the property. House looked very english in all its features. Very stylish in furniture, plates and cups, decorations etc. Few places to sit in thd garden as well. We had a room with ensuite toilet and shower, but several rooms had shared toilet and or shower. One was free to take tea or coffee all day and there were cookies and fruits from the garden for free as well. We choose the city as we wanted to explore the north by car. We also went by train to Gotenborg. Very easy, almost one hour teavel, direct train. Hotel is close to train an bus station. Many places to eat in town at walking distance."
"Rooms were indeed as small as indicated. Hardly any place to hang cloths etc. Sitting rooms and garden downstairs enlarged the living space though. Within those rooms the chairs and couches took up a lot of space and one needed to move around carefully. The space coild host the number of guests though and everybody was very considerate."
