"The friendly check in experience. The atmosphere throughout the hotel. The incense burning throughout the day and the candles on the stairs at night were a really nice touch, never seen that before. Lovely and unique decor. Friendly restaurant staff. The rooms were very clean. Loved that there were facecloths (so few hotels in Mexico seem to provide them). Water jugs on every floor for guest use. Very clean. The earplugs in the room (amazing). Comfortable beds with nice clean and good smelling sheets & pillowcases. Our family of three adored this place."

"We didn't get warm or hot water:( We had a really long day of travel (8 hours of driving straight) and then went right to the beach until well after sunset. We all needed a shower and the water got barely warm. Even in the morning the next day. This was unfortunate. Also, the "extra room" my daughter and I slept in was more like a balcony, the walls didn't reach the ceiling and the roof was palapa style branches so it was exposed to outside, we were very cold and could also hear the music from every direction in the town. Just a warning for those who are arriving unaware of the room that has this feature (you can probably ask for extra blankets during months where it's colder at night)."

"breakfast was incredible, some of the best food we had during our entire stay was at their organic bistro! Staff was so kind and helpful, and helped us find great local spots. Felt extremely safe, walked everywhere it was a great location! would 100% reccomend!"

"A lovely, art and literature themed boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a convenient and walkable location. The coffee and yogurt snack in the morning was a nice way to start the day. We enjoyed our stay, Gracias."

"The only negative which the hotel doesn’t have control over is a muy Guapo rooster who is quite vocal in the very early morning hours. There are earplugs provided. Music from neighboring place was totally normal and didn’t go late."

"Location , staff and cleanliness were excellent. The queen room was small with little space to hang or store clothes. I suggest remove the single bed and use the space for a well designed closet ( luggage can be stored on top ). Some wall hooks would be useful. The swimming facility was a enjoyed by us for 2-3 hours each day Thankyou for a great holiday. Jim & Joan"

"We moved here from our original hotel because we needed good wifi for working - the staff was fabulous, the detail and decor wonderful - it's owned by a designer and you could tell. Lovely art, attention to detail, sculptures, wind chimes, etc. made the place lovely to be in"
