Riad El Bir

"The Riad is an excellent location in the heart of the medina convenient for walking to the square, trams, Kasbah and old medina etc. Our host Yaseen made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely with fruit juice, selection of different fruits, avocado, pancakes, pastries, cheese and eggs all nicely presented. We made our own tea and coffee. The room was cleaned every day, beds made up and changed, plenty of towels changed twice during our 4 night stay. The water was lovely and hot for showers. We had a late flight home and were able to leave our cases there all day after check out. We were there during Ramadan and were invited to join the family for a meal but unfortunately we had already made plans."

"The property is looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of tlc. The bathroom needs attention particularly the sink tap and the shower. The rugs could do with replacing and the curtains need fixing as the hooks are broken and hanging off the poles. We were on the ground floor and the room was a bit chilly in the evening and morning so we did use the radiator provided. This wouldn’t be an issue later in the year."

"The staff at El Bir are so friendly, helpful and professional, top marks to them. The breakfast provided each morning was just perfect. The location was very good, it was central, quiet, and very safe."

"The room we booked was supposed to have a double bed, and a single bed. But, the single bed was just a couch. The bathroom needs improvement due to broken tiles and a substandard shower."

"The Riad is in a perfect central position! Breakfast is special, with a lot of choice! The owner is so helpful and it Is easy to comunicate before arrival. The room is elegant and romantic! That's a pity that we stayed only one night! Hope to come back!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great, and the location was convenient and walkable to all attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby and the beach is close too."

"Bathroom had some mould on the bench and in the shower. The water didn't drain very well in the shower unless you took the silicon cover off, and when you did the drain smelt very bad. The bathroom could do with some rails to hang up towels. The bed wasn't very comfortable either."
