"Very peaceful place, well prepared for all needs. We could ask the woman at reception everything we needed and also arrange things easily. Some of us got ill so for a little money we received additional room for the sick. In the summer though it would be good to have nets on the window because of mosquitos. We have brought ours."

"I was on a bike-trip and booked only one night at first. Because I got a cold I had to extend my stay for another day. I also told the landlord about this via phone. No five minutes later her housekeeper stood in front of my apartment with fresh peppermint and honey in her hands! Such a nice service! I'll never forget that!"

"Ļoti skaista vietā pašā ezera krastā ar fantastisku skatu. Māja bija sakopta, tīra, nevienas mušas vai oda, atradām visu nepieciešamo virtuvē un kopumā. Televīzija, mikroviļņu krāsns, laba vannas istaba. Dārzā ir lapene un mazs bērnu rotaļu laukumiņš ar šūpolēm un slidkalniņu. Ļoti labs kontakts ar īpašnieci."

"The apartment is new, well equipped and cozy (it looks better than in the photos). They have everything you need. Clear instructions are provided (how to get to the area and apartments, how to use the equipment, etc.). Very nice hostess. The apartments are located in a newly equipped, fenced and beautifully landscaped area with lots of green space and and a playground for children. There is also a SPA center with a pool and saunas (extra charge). Near there is a small grocery shop where you can find all you need for your stay (food, drinks etc) and Albatros restaurant. The place is great, near the forest and the sea. There are not many people on the beach. We liked it a lot and would love to come back!"

"This house offered just the right amount of space for me and my two primary school-aged sons—each of us enjoyed our own room, complete with a king-size bed (yes, even the boys lived large). The living area downstairs was bright and generously sized, perfect for a bit of wrestling or quiet reading—depending on the hour. The host? Absolutely excellent. We were welcomed with fresh farm eggs and a presence so discreet that they could give even the most modest Estonian a run for their money. Almost invisible, yet everything worked like clockwork—a rare and admirable talent. In short: a brilliant shell nestled in the beauty of the Latvian countryside. Highly recommended."

"Great place! We arrived late Friday evening, it was so dark that we even couldn`t see the river Daugava, only hear the waves. In the morning when we opened our eyes and curtains - wow, here it was so close to the cottage! First night was fabulous as we enjoyed the silence being alone in the whole Lapsu ciems :) The cottage is clean, nice, cozy, there is a fireplace which suits Autumn evenings so much. The terrace with the view on Daugava is amazing, we enjoyed also barbeque. All you could wish for a weekend stay. Other three cottages are quite close but people do not bother each other. Hope to enjoy also in summer with boat rides and swimming."
