"It's a good location and has a swimming pool to chill out. Rooms are spacious, the room contains a refrigerator and an electric kettle."

"Bathroom doors are broken and they cannot be locked, Rooms are not sound proof, hence it will have huge sounds and vibrations when the train passes through."

"Everything about this villa is great—except that it’s quite far from the town. There’s not much around the area. I booked it without fully understanding the location, so that’s my fault. However, the villa itself is really nice, and I truly enjoyed my stay there."

"The best part would be the person handling the villa. The contact, I think his name was Bandula. He answered every call I made and cleared up every question very attentively. Was very helpful and accommodating. We had to check out at 11 and he said he just needed us to handover the room to prep for the next person but we could stay in the common area. We waited over an hour and a half comfortably because we had to wait for the train. No one bothered us. Very homey Villa. Easy to find. The room was nice and comfortable. I loved the pool, it was kept clean. Overall clean place, no bugs or anything. A few meters away is a small food shop, if you need to get some good local food and can't be bothered to venture too far. PSA to any foreigner travelling around Galle, download the 'Pickme' app to order transport; the local tuks are very sus, and overcharge!"

"The windows/ bathroom mirror/ shower heads could have been cleaned. They weren't filthy but it would have been nice if they were a bit cleaner. Also, need to keep a spoon in the room to make the tea. Booking may say check out at 11.30am, that may be a mistake because checkout is at 11am. Would appreciate if you guys kept panadols on hand in case of emergency, but just a gentle suggestion."

"Amazing Stay with Unforgettable Safari Experience! We had a wonderful stay at Seranity Lake Resort. The place is peaceful, clean, and very relaxing. Dileepa was extremely helpful and took care of everything from the moment we arrived. His hospitality was outstanding and he made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. "Perhaps the best beachside location I have ever stayed at. Such a beautiful setting with the little chalets set back from water, a nice rustic beach restaurant and a safe place to swim. The one bedroom superior rooms are exceptional, super clean and tidy and quite large - the sunbeds at the front are nice for an afternoon relax. The food and cocktails at the beachside restaurant are next level, along with the sunsets views down Tangalle Beach. Uvini and the reception and staff are super friendly and the restaurant staff lead by Chamal are an absolute great bunch, always attentive and looking after all your needs. What a gem!!!"
