"Superb location overlooking the old French railway bridge . Nice pool and such helpful friendly staff . One of my favourite ever places . I will be back"

"Spacious clean room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was large but not so much interesting choices. The shower was not great. But very pleasant stay, and lunch and dinner were really good."

"We had a great stay at Sengahloune Hotel. Mr Thep and his wife were extremely helpful and organised our transfer which worked out seamlessly. Our room was very comfortable with great air conditioning which we were extremely grateful for as it was very hot. We had bikes from the hotel which were well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the island. The pool was extremely welcome at the end of a hot day. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Don Khong."

"The location is wonderful: close to the bridge, we saw one of the best sunsets during our trip. If available, book a room with riverview as they have been recently renovated and are very nice. We eventually decided to upgrade our room to enjoy the view. Breakfast is okay, pancakes are good. This is probably one of the most decent structures in the island so I'd recommend it."
"When we arrived to check in we realized that they didn't register our booking and we had to wait for an hour to have the room. We eventually got a bungalow with garden view and it wasn't exactly what the pictures show, hence the upgrade to one of the riverview rooms. We wanted to rent a bike but they told us, a bit impolitely, that they didn't have any and we could go somewhere along the street to find a bike. Luckily it wasn't a problem for us as it's full of rentals, the issue was the manner. It's a bit overpriced for the area."
