"Nice view, comfortable bed and shower. A good choice when looking for comfort"

"The location was superb, with a great view over the valley and setting sun. We had the top floor room, furthest along and it was a nice big room. We booked a twin room and this had one double and one single bed. We liked the helpful map of walks of the area and did some of those. We liked the provision of a kettle and cups, and having the table and chairs outside. The hosts, Gabriel and Penny, were great and offered tips and advice. I think it’s one of the better rooms to stay in the area. We were pleased with our stay."
"I will just note that the double bed creaks when you move, or get in, and maybe needs some attention to fix it. But I still managed to sleep. It is a very quiet area."
"Outstanding view of the Nam Ou and lazy afternoons watching the village go about its business. Gabriel and Penny are both very welcoming and quick to offer any assistance."

"We had a great stay in Muang Ngoy. Penny & Gabriel were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Room was quite basic but everything we needed - clean, comfy bed, hot shower, air con and a riverview hammock on the balcony. Breakfast was good."

"Great location. Room with a balcony overlooking the river Room was basic but had everything you needed. Shower with hot water, comfortable beds. Gabriel ( the owner) was on hand to answer any questions and was able to give advice on best areas to visit. He also booked us a boat and kayak so we could get to do the tours ourselves at a good price. Good value for money and would recommend Pennys place up the road was also good for food and coffee"
