"The owner and family was friendly and hospitable. Location is good with walking distance to a couple of supermarkets and shops. Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Good breakfast."

"Nice place to stay with big bedrooms and nice bathrooms with good hot showers. The breakfast is homemade and really good. The staff speaks basic english which helped as well. Globus 5minus nearby."

"Very nice room (ground floor) with semi private bathroom. Good size. Owner very helpful, when you call. Laundry 200 som/load. Nice sheltered space for outdoor dining and bike storage. Nice omelet and community vibes for breakfast."

"Power blackout for eight hours, currently alot of construction on the entrance road making it harder to access. Kitchen is small and awkward to navigate during breakfast hours."

"Clean, quiet and very spacious rooms. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. Close to many shops, cafes, restaurants. Excellent value for money and would absolutely recommend."

"The owner is attentive & flexible to add more nights in reservation, also speaks Spanish if you need it. Location a bit far from city center, but easy to find transport, such as marshutka 135 from Vakzal or suleiman mountain. The house have various bathrooms, kitchen for cook and dry area. Good breakfast."

"Some spaces specially kitchen feels narrow and one shower had not enough pressure."

"We stayed 2 nights at Astoria and it was great. Breakfast is nice, the owner's son managed everything and speaks good English, we met many nice travellers from everywhere, and it was nice to share some moments and tips with them. It's a nice place to stay, we recommend it. It's a bit far from the center, but in Yandex or walking, it's quite easy to do everything."

"we were 100% satisfied with this accommodation🥰 stable wifi, AC and the desk in our room was perfect for our working days there, the friendly and English speaking staff was also welcoming and we could also do laundry for a small fee so we definitely recommend Astoria"

"The staff was very helpful and nice. Some speak perfectly fine English (which is rare in the area) and when we asked them if it's possible to book a extra night it was no problem."

"The shower has some problems with the water and is a bit illogically arranged. Besides that the wifi didn't work in most of the city but the staff was very helpful about that."

"The lady boss was very friendly, supportive and able to communicate in English which is not always the case with hotel owners or staff in Central Asia. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to the city centre and in the surrounding area of the guessthouse you can find a couple of restaurants and groceries. My room was clean, beds were comfortable and there was no noise disturbance in the night although my room faced the main road. Traffic simply isn't very heavy in Osh during the night. Note: when arriving at the hotel, you first stay in front of a locked door. You are then supposed to ring the bell which I did not know and I also did not see the bell button which is a bit highly located. I suggest to fix a note in English at the door pointing to the bell and instructing to ring it. Once I did so, the owner appeared instantly."

"The two young ladies on Reception were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Had a room on the 6th level with mountain views. The room was spotlessly clean for my arrival. The bathroom was cleaned well every day but the room was given a quick clean each day, this was perfectly fine. The breakfast is excellent. I'm happy to recommend this hotel."

"Great location, close to the lake. Great food, dinner and breakfast (if you're vegetarian make sure you tell them ahead). When we stayed there, it was already low season (and very cold), so there weren't activities available. But walking close to the lake was amazing, with no one around. Yurts were in good shape, and they're warm (it was around 2-3 degree Celsius). They have a coal stove to warm up the yurt, which the staff turns on before you go to sleep. Toilets are clean and tidy. Hot water is available for showers."
