Set just outside Cilento National Park, Hotel Hermitage is 200 metres from the Polla exit of the A3 motorway. Its air-conditioned rooms offer free Wi-Fi and garden views. Each room at the Hermitage has a classic design with carpeted floors and wood furniture. They include a TV, minibar and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. A buffet breakfast is served each morning while staff will be happy to offer recommendations and discounts at local restaurants. Located in the small town of Polla, this new hotel is close to the border of Campania and Basilicata. Salerno is an hour's drive away. Free parking is provided.

"We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept really well. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, perfect for a short getaway. Great value for money and we would happily stay here again."

"To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it."
