The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. We were upgraded after our first night, free of charge, and both rooms were lovely!"

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

"I booked for a Night, but i stayed for one week. I really liked it. The best accomodations in Gambia. Very good price! Comfortable, big bed! AC and Van and big TV with netflix... and hot water. A shared kitchen is also there. The village is very authentic and many cute kids around. A few shops and a restaurant about 10min walking. Lamin was always available, friendly and helpful. Very spontanously he took me to the airport, i had some problems and he helped me there with everything and he was waiting the whole time to see if i am fine. Very good man! It was a comfortable, nice, stressfree ending of my travel there. Thank you so so much :D"

The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

Nungwi has a problem with electricity. There is no energy for several hours every day. The guest house should have a generator.

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."

"The guesthouse was very clean and beautiful, as well as quiet with access from the back of the house. The kitchen was very well stocked, with a microwave, fridge, oven, sink and cleaning supplies and cutlery and spices. Our room was a good size, with charging ports near the bed, clean sheets and covers and enough space for our large luggage. The location was also really good, close to the airport. It's very close to thr Trollkunfinger walk. You can park right beside the house, and there's space for at least three cars."

There were some loud motercycle noises in the night, it did keep us from sleeping a little, so it seems like the neighbourhood can get a bit noisy. The nice bathroom with a standing shower is in the basement, which you need to access from outside or from a trap door in the kitchen. The other bathroom has a tub but doesn't have enough ceiling space to stand. The basement was a little cold and dusty and so bathing there was a little scary!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "This is my favourite place to stay in Asuncion. I have stayed here 4 times now and the hosts have become my friends. They have looked after me well when I was alone in a strange new land. The new renovations are wonderful too and the breakfast menu is delicious. The proximity to Shopping Mall Multiplaza is always a massive convenience too-literally across the road."

There's nothing I don't like about this place. I always have a wonderful time when I stay here.

The owner was so welcoming and shared the amazing story of how it was his great-great-grandfather who built it, such a cool piece of history.
