"The location was great close to everything. The breakfast was good and the staffs were very helpful. My flight was canceled due to the weather and the hotel accommodated me for one more night. Overall I had a lovely stay !"

"This review is actually for Hans Egede Hotel! I had booked HHE Express, its low(er)-budget partner, but on check-in was told I had been upgraded to Hans Egede (500 m up the street) as they were full. Hans Egede was great, certainly the best place in Nuuk. Very spacious, comfortable room with a real double bed which is quite rare in Scandinavia. Great breakfast with a view on the fifth floor (were there is also a good and rather classy and pricey Steakhouse restaurant). Only experience with HHE Express was staff at reception which was great, as in Hans Egede as well. Don't know what the usual rate would have been."

"Large rooms, pristine condition. Well appointed with good facilities. Common area also superb, with cooking facilities, dining area, living room and TV. Two shower/toilet rooms shared between 4 rooms. Impeccably clean. Free wi-fi. 2x supermarkets and a fast-food place are within walking distance, closing around 22:00."

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

"Excellent apartment, much better than expected! Spacious, bright and airy with great views over the city and ocean. Great kitchen, fully functional. Smart TV and Wifi internet both worked well. Loved having a washing machine. Only a few minutes walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Got free use of the gym in the Hotel Hans Egede. Very comfortable, loved every aspect of it."
