The property has no luxurious facilities, but ticks all the boxes for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

"The hosts were very friendly and sincere in their service to their guests. The breakfast and dinner were good. We tried their apple cider tasting board and I really enjoyed it. We had bonfire after dinner and the children enjoyed gathering dried grasses to add to the fire. The owner even brought us to their mushroom farm and showed the operation of the farm, which we were very impressed. Hope to visit Cider Barn &more again, maybe in another season."

It was quite a challenge driving in the dark to the accommodation. It’s better to reach there before sunset.

"If you’re feeling tired from work or from life, this is the place you should come to. I highly recommend staying for at least 10 days. I stayed for 40 days, and during that time, my body and soul were healed — I feel truly happy now. My days at Petit Martel felt like being in paradise."

Shower room was decent but the floor "water blocker" has been leaking a while water around the shower floor because there was a dedicated towel to block the water/dry it to not get wet while using toilet. Additionnaly, not giving a good picture of hygiene to see a bowl dedicated for dishwashing that was stored behind the toilet/next to shower.

"I’ve been here multiple times for years. During cold weather, this place is magical. During early summers now, it wasn’t bad. The location is remove but very well guided. The facility is well maintained as always, lots of rooms, clean pool and great bbq amenities. The management is very helpful and approachable. Overall, a very nice farmhouse."
