"Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. "If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

Camerele sunt foarte mici ,de abia ai loc sa te miști. Aerul condiționat nu prea exista, este un fel de ventilator care nu face fata absolut deloc.

We were just abit surprised in the beginning that it was a shared house....so maybe just a clearer description online

"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"Hosts were super friendly, very helpful and kind. Silvio gave me a ride back to airport when I arrived and needed to pick up my partner (we traveled separately there). The house and the room were nice and clean, huge fridge and well equipped kitchen for the guests to use. Netflix with guest account in the room was a nice extra. Big terrace with sunbeds. The location itself was lovely, locals were friendly and helpful as well. Airport is very close, 40 mins walk or 6 mins with the car."

I know it's not the hosts fault, because there was an issue with the pool due the construction works in the neighborhood the time we're staying there and we couldn't use it. Would have been nice, because the pool itself is pretty big.

"The hosts are really helpful and very nice. It is so important to be able to get some help and tips, when you are travelling. What I really liked, was the breakfast, where all guests have the opportunity to meet. All of us really connected well and we had a fabulous old years eve together."

"Monica and Nobert are amazing hosts. They are always there to help you. They know a lot about the area and the country so their advices are always welcomed. They are really nice to talk to and share a meal with. They have 2 nice kids. Like Monica told me, « they are a home, not an hotel » and it’s way better that way! :) The room was clean and confortable. The included breakfast was really delicious and huge and it changed every day. They offer to cook for you if you want to eat dinner with them which is really great. They offer a twin lakes tour which was amazing with a lot of informations."

The bathroom is a little small and it’s cold water, but you can get a bucket of hot water so it’s ok. It’s not so close to city center, but moto are easy to find to get there, or walk for a bit is possible.

"I had a room that had a private door leading to a little terrace which was nice. The inn is also located in a quiet residential area so it felt cozy and relaxing."

The kettle was not in the room, and the mattress was a bit too hard for one of us.

"Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.
