"The staff were incredibly helpful, and went above any expectations. This was just an overnight stay for us but we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodge & location was beautiful"

"Nice lodge with great birding possibilities on site (Toucans, Tanagers, Hummingbirds, Umbrella bird, Trogon etc.) Nice restaurant with nice views of the hummingbirds. Very good food with exceptional big portions. Good clean rooms, with hot water."

"On the outside the cabins look a little dated and shabby but once inside they are very cosy and comfortable. We had Cabin 15 and the views all around were of the forest and so peaceful. For the visiting birder Sachatamia is an excellent choice with plenty of action going on around the fruit and hummingbird feeders. It’s possible to get some wonderful photographs. There are plenty of trails to walk around for those that want some extra exercise. The food was probably the best we experienced in our 10 days in the Mindo area. Needless to say all the staff were warm and friendly."
"We didn’t like the poor weather we had with some extremely heavy rain but that was hardly the lodges fault and at least we had comfy places to sit while waiting for the rain to pass."

"Een prachtige, sfeervolle accommodatie midden in de natuur. Het is volledig ingericht op vogelen en daar kwamen wij voor. Het is echt een paradijs"
"Een waterkoker op de kamer was prettig geweest. Het personeel vertelt uit zichzelf weinig over de faciliteiten, wandelroutes. Er is bijvoorbeeld een vogelhut waar je ze om 6 uur voeren en je de umbrella bird kunt zien. Je moet het zelf onderzoeken. Ii vermoed dat het komt door de taalbarriere"
