"The room aircon was set on cook when I arrived, turned it down on the controller to a comfortable 22 but had no effect. Trying to explain this over the phone at midnight in English not so easy so turned it off and open the window....... helped but not great, why do hotels super heat indoors in winter, cooler rooms are better for sleeping and if there is a room control........ let it control not just a token device"

"The batter on the room service fish meal could have been crisper. I peeled it off and ate the fish. The french fries were a little tired. The salmon salad - salmon ok but the salad was mostly just lettuce! I was hungry so ate something. It was alright but could be better. My second night's food was better - spaghetti bolognaise. However, the restaurant food was all great."
