"Best Western style breakfast I had on the island of Taiwan. Staff was super nice and welcoming. The restaurant of the hotel is also excellent. My room was spacious, bright, clean the bathroom was great (pay attention to the use of toilet papers if you re a western tourists). Houwan is a lovely place with a great beach and lovely atmosphere. Beware that there aren’t any konbinis or many options around but it’s totally worth staying at blue ocean and go to Checheng for other needs."
