"Only one down side worth mentioning and that’s the length of time it takes to get food at the Sugar Apple Cafe! It’s a lovely place and the food is good but the food wait time is absolutely crazy!! Also not having a separate lunch menu isn’t great. The lunch and dinner menu are the same but I good they will improve this and provide a separate and different lunch menu and also sort out the food times. Apart from this the place is more or less perfect!!"

"The room was very spacious and comfortable with a great sized balcony overlooking the garden and pool area. Bedroom was a great size and decor fresh and modern. Bed was super comfy and a great size. The restaurant and food was great. Good selection of drinks at the bar and restaurant. View from the terrace overlooking the sea is amazing with perfect sunset. There is no beach but you do have access to Sandy Lane Beach which is stunning. You cannot use the loungers as these are for the guests at the exclusive Sandy Lane hotel but you can sit on sand and go for a swim. Overall this is a lovely hotel resort with very friendly staff. If you are planning to take advantage of the all Inclusive it’s great value for money."

"A little tired in area’s, air con machine was a bit noisy and switched off at night, a good fan which wasn’t noisy but would need air con in hotter weather"

"Lots of returning guests as it’s charmingly beautiful. Clean, very helpful friendly staff, good management and really good 3 course table service lunch and diner. Breakfast from 7:30am and plenty of choice. This is our 4th visit to the place. We are looking already to book in 2026"

"The recently refurbished rooms were excellent. There were plenty of new sunbeds by all pools and on the beach and we really liked the resort layout and and the lovely colourful buildings."

"Only one of two restaurants were open resulting in lack of food choice, breakfast was good but in the main restaurant the food was average at best. Training of staff really needs to be improved, as on numerous occasions we got different answers to questions from different staff (especially reception staff that were poor at communication and did not follow up on requests). We also spoke to many other unhappy guests that had serious issues with their rooms. For example: One elderly couple got locked in their first floor room for 2hrs, the telephone was not working and therefore they could not raise the alarm. Also, a number of rooms did not have any hot water, 2 rooms also flooded whilst we were there and the majority of rooms had telephones & TVs not working. We feel there was a lack of evening entertainment, only 3 nights out of 7 during our stay. Also, no daytime activities although according to our daily programme received on arrival, there should have been something going on every day. The resort was obviously opened too soon following the renovations as these issues should have been picked up prior to opening."
