"The cottage is rustic, clean, quaint and comfortable. The outside braai area had light and the hearth was wonderful to stand next to. The night sky and stars were incredible. Seeing the 3 giraffe and the buck both evenings was an unexpected treat. The quietness was wonderful to experience. Johnston was a true gem of a gentleman!"
"The indoor fire seemed to make a lot of smoke in the cottage, it did not draw the smoke out well, not sure what the reason was?"
"Wer bereit ist, sich auf ein Abenteuer einzulassen, dann ist er in der Deer Cottage am richtigen Ort. Fast alleine irgendwo im Busch - einfach herrlich! Die Unterkunft ist einfach mit einer zweckmässigen Einrichtung (mit Gasherd und Solar-Licht. ) Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. ...einfach grandios :-)"

"Lovely room with great views from the terrace. Excellent breakfast and helpful and knowledgeable host. Friendly staff and a bonus visit from Tom and Jerry, the local loeries! The communal kitchen/lounge area was useful and well equipped. The luggage funicular was extremely welcome."
