"Dany Island is a true remote-island escape with a relaxed barefoot-luxury feel. It’s the perfect place to switch off, slow down, and completely unwind. What really sets it apart is its eco-friendly approach and history as a marine conservatory. Knowing the reefs and environment are protected makes the stay feel even more meaningful, as your visit supports conservation rather than harming it. Peaceful, untouched, and beautifully simple — ideal for anyone looking for an off-grid island experience in Vanuatu. Julien the resort manager (and his team) were exceptional. They made us feel so welcomed and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Julien is also an amazing chef."
"Not so much an negative feedback but the bath towels only get replaced every 2 days and there was one day where we didn’t have beach towels as there were no replacements (ie we couldn’t reuse our beach towels as it was soaked from our previous day activity). It wasn’t so much a big deal that’s why I didn’t raise with Julien. I’m sure if I did he would have been all over it!"

"Very nice host, trying to accommodate all my requests. Very authentic stay close to the volcano. The volcano and the red glow are visible from the hut."

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."

"- The location is great with absolutely fantastic snorkelling out the front (felt very safe and I’m not a strong swimmer) - use of Kayaks an added bonus - refreshing to cool off in the pool or relax in a hammock - the villas are clean and user friendly, very comfortable bed, excellent wifi and aircon highly valued -Michael is a champion with a friendly smile, excellent local knowledge and nothing we asked about was a hassle or too much trouble! (thanks so much for the coconuts!) -such a beautiful, Peaceful spot to relax Or explore! Thanks for having us!"
"Anette et Gaston sont des hôtes fabuleux ! Très réactif, ils sont venus nous chercher à l’aéroport et nous y ont re déposé le lendemain. Le logement est propre et dispose d’une cuisine fonctionnelle tout équipée. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner qui était délicieux ! Un grand merci pour votre hospitalité et votre gentillesse.
