"We had such a great time staying with Nhi in Hoi An! The property is in a great location - close to lots of shops and great places to eat and get coffee, and only a short walk or bike ride to Old Town. It’s also a short walk to see the rice paddies and water buffalos, and easy to get to the beach too. The room was spacious and comfortable, and very quiet. The home-cooked breakfasts each morning were delicious. But the best part was the hospitality from Nhi — she had so many great recommendations and advice for how to spend our time in Hoi An, from the best place to get traditional food to where to go for a great tailor. She also helped us organise transport from the airport and to our next destination. We would also highly recommend the cooking class at Charming Homestay - it was one of the highlights of our entire holiday in Vietnam! Thank you for everything Nhi."

"Everything was great! I personally loved the location but noting it is about a 20-minute walk to Old Town, so people with mobility issues might need to get a taxi."

"Nhi and her mum were so inviting, hospitable and welcoming, it felt like home to me. Nhi allowed me to keep my large suitcases downstairs to save the pain of carrying them upstairs. When I returned to stay a second time, Nhi had prepared a meal for me and insisted I take it and it was delicious. I may go back and stay with Chi if it works out, I will always remember their kindness, friendship and hospitality. I will always remember you Nhi, thank you for your love and generosity."

"The traffic is a bit of a pain when walking, but still convenient to walk everywhere I wanted to walk to. lots of cafes and restaurants around and close by."

"Nhi was an excellent host, providing excellent recommendations for food, tailoring and things to do. My wife became unwell whilst we were in Hoi An, Nhi made her feel so much better, cooking her a homemade meal and providing her with ginger tea. She went repeatedly above and beyond what we would expect in anywhere else we’ve ever stayed and provided a lovely rose to celebrate our honeymoon. This really is a home away from home. Highly recommend."

"The room could be quite hot when coming back to sleep as the A/C requires key activation and did take a little time to cool. The bathroom was hot and humid particularly after showering - we kept the door closed between the room and bathroom for this reason."

"It’s was a gorgeous place to stay, you walk through a lovely colourful garden to reach the rooms. They’re set back from the road so very quiet and eating breakfast around the dining table was very welcoming. I am celiac (gluten free) and Nhi catered for me without any trouble, each breakfast was delicious"

"Lovely family owned homestay with a nice vibe overall. Located just right between the busy center and the relaxing rice paddies and the beach. Bicycles at hand to explore the surroundings to the fullest. Loads of local recommendations and sweet executed cooking class. All in all very cosy, we loved it."

"Thanks to Nih, it feels like a "home away from home". She is incredibly helpful, friendly, reliable and warm. I love the energy that her mother and she give to this place. The homestay is like an inner courtyard with individual sweet rooms. Nih's kitchen is the centerpiece of the whole property. I would come back here again and again and hope to see them again somewhere/someday. =bed super comfortable =hot water =regular checking/cleaning of the rooms =individual breakfast options =scooter/bicycle rental =easy to find and everything you need within reach =top location because right between rice fields and old town."

"Staying here has felt like home. Nhi made me feel so comfortable and safe and a solo female traveller. She is a wonderful cook helped me plan the next couple of weeks of my trip. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Only a short walk or bike ride into the busy part of Hoi An. Peaceful at night time. Beautiful fresh flowers and plants surrounding the homestay. A really lovely vibe. I highly recommend Charming Homestay."
