"Excellent location right between Registan Square and Shahi Zinda. You can walk as there is secret door for the main walking street, not shown on Google maps. Saves your time. Room was good."

"The location is amazing, in the middle of all the landmarks, there is a very nice restaurant right across the gate. The family is very kind, the owner is the best, our taxi was late, so the owner dropped is to the station himself for free on time."

"Outstanding stay at May Weather. I'm grateful that the beautiful family made a great effort to understand my dietary needs for breakfast. Plenty of space in dorms, clean pool, sauna, fruit orchard. Although a little outside of the old town, I had no problems catching cheap Yandex to and fro, even late at night. Felt very safe and welcome."

We chose this hostel specifically because we were also booking a two-day excursion to the Aral Sea with Besqala (who manages both the hotel and the eco-tours). It was an extraordinary experience and perfectly organized. The car was very comfortable—essential for the long, bumpy off-road tracks—and we ate remarkably well. Even though the yurt camp is understandably basic, we slept well and the staff there was truly lovely. Every site visited exceeded our expectations. Upon our return, we didn't hesitate to stay at the hostel again because our first night had been so positive. They even upgraded us to a double room with a private bathroom! We highly recommend all of Besqala’s services. A must-do!"
