The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The location is breath-taking, offering amazing views and a great atmosphere that added to the overall experience. Hospitality was top-notch; everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place—can’t wait to come back!"

"The perfect retreat to completely relax in peace. As previous reviews have noted, Ali and his team are wonderful, the prepared breakfasts (and other meals if you want them) are great, the pool is fantastic for kids, and there are many spots around the house to lounge about. Really glad we chose to stay here as opposed to the northern beaches. Ali arranged a day trip there which was great and then we returned to the serenity and space of this beautiful private villa."

"If I was being super picky, I would say that it would be great if the path between the house and the pool could be paved to allow one to look more graceful when running, slow motion movie style, from one’s luxury villa to one’s luxury pool. Lol."

"The villa is exquisite - beautifully appointed - with four sizeable bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. The views over the infinite pool to the Indian Ocean are spectacular. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our host Ali arranged numerous excursions, taxis etc.The in -house chef is excellent and the food was as good or better than anything we encountered when eating out and included grilled lobster on our last night which was perfect. We particularly enjoyed an early morning boat trip - being picked up from the steps below the villa - to swim with dolphins and then snorkel among a thousand fish. This is a very special, luxurious experience for a family group such as ours and could not be faulted."

"The property is somewhat isolated - although at low tide you can walk along the beach for 20 minutes to a number of restaurants / hotel complexes. The best of these was the Sevi Boutique Hotel where we had a great lunch. The isolation actually suited us as a group perfectly."

"The staff was amazing (thank you Adil, Jenny and Lucy) and helpful, the villa and view are beautiful, it’s in a quiet area which was great after 2 weeks in Paje/Jambiani. The breakfast is really good and the chef cooked for us what we wanted every evening. We loved every bit of our stay"

"WE do not know Zanzibar at all. When we arrived at the villa there were no drinks in the fridge and no suggestions on where to get them as well as some groceries/food. My suggestion would be to find out from guests what drinks they would like in the fridge and then stock it up, obviously at a cost. Also, maybe a folder with options on where to get groceries and food as $20/person for a meal is quite expensive. You could also maybe include some possible activities and contacts in the folder."

"Actually it is a superb property with an unfortunate BUT, the upper bed room and living room space has the toilet in the middle of the room without privacy space. although the food prepared from the chef is delicious, it is overpriced."
