"Overall, a very good stay, although a bit different from the photos and with slightly different expectations. There are few beach vendors, which is a plus. However, if you are looking to swim in the ocean, it’s only possible very rarely due to low tides. There are many locals around, and in the evenings you can watch local people playing football. That said, you step straight onto the beach as soon as you leave your room, and the ocean view is beautiful and definitely a highlight. The staff are extremely warm, kind, and welcoming. The food is excellent — especially the pizzas! It truly feels like an Italian place, with hospitality just as heartfelt as in Italy. Overall, a good experience!"

"Beautiful place, right on the beach. Wake up to a Zanzibar sunrise and locals buying fish straight off the boats. Very calm and relaxing environment. Swim at high tide, and at lowtide you can stroll to a nearby sandbank. The pool is a huge plus, and the deck is made for short, relaxing naps. I would highly recommend this for anyone trying to get away from a resort type holiday, but still want the convenience of breakfast and cleaning service. Great service by the staff!"
