"Very close to the beach and diving school. Excellent Location. Very helpful staff. Good value for the price."

"The mattress was very old and worn out. We stayed over 2 weeks and my back felt the impact of the mattress. The card facility didn’t work so we had to pay in cash; this added a substantial extra banking cost to draw so much cash from the bank."

"A budget hotel with comfy rooms with ensuites overlooking the large pool. The hotel is a little dated but good value for money. Nice breakfast included and just a few minutes walk to the centre of town. Large TV in the bar area with DSTv. Especially liked the pool which was kept very clean. 24 hour security."

"It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Carlotta! The included breakfast was amazing! The staff was very nice and helpful. In one of our rooms the AC did not work but when we came back from the beach it was already fixed so no problem at all!"

"Short comment from 3 norwegian dudes on our stay here: Nice staff, very good cleaning after breakfast each day (~20-30 minutes). Breakfast was good value for the money. Pool was clean and chill, and we used the diving centre on out last day. My 2 buddies were certified Open Water divers, and I wanted to test it for the first time but was very afraid. I got to borrow snorkling equipment, got good training with scuba equipment in the pool and my instructor Thomas (PADI dive master) was excellent. I went from not being comfortable in pool to double dive ar 10-12 meters on Mnemba island. Lifetime experience. The diving centre had good prices and the trip was good value overall."

"Fantastic staff, service and food. We stayed, two couples, for three nights and liked it a lot! The staff was very attentive and friendly and Zuma cooked amazing food. Bicycles to borrow, the beack is 10 minutes away. Also went snorkeling wit the Meremeta boat and crew - world class!"
