"Pacific bathtub balcony, sunrise over the harbour, fish supper 100m up the road. Charming murals and hand painted stairs - all so very nice. But no staff! We were on holiday and needed information about buses, boat trips and bicycles and there was no one on hand to help us. We even waited 35 minutes before someone let us in to check-in! I have no idea what would happen in the event of some kind of accident or security issue ...? No one around just a sign on the reception saying service temporarily unavailable (permanently unavailable during our whole stay) and a Happy Christmas banner at the end of March. As I joked to my wife maybe Christmas was the last time a staff member was on duty!"
