"Very special, clean room on 6th floor with great views over the ocean. Dry close to night market and downtown. Car parking directly in front of hostel. Very friendly owner (father and son)."

"Beautiful, well located property in the heart of Hualien. The sea views are just breathtaking. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. Would stay here next time 100%. The sea promenade just outside the hotel is perfect for an evening stroll and watching the sunrise alike."

"Great location for the sea and for the night market, and nearby shops including 7-11. Lift access to all floors. views from the room of the town & mountains on one side and the sea on the other. aircon and wifi worked great. Really friendly and helpful staff."
"Not really a negative, as i knew before booking, but its a taxi ride (if with a bag) from the train station, but only for like 5 Euro's, and the taxi drivers knew where it was."
"I can highly recommend View Ocean (not to be mixed up with Ocean View B&B which is very close by). I stayed there one night in April 2025. Very friendly owner, stylish and spacious rooms and a lovely backyard garden. The location is great with the night market and the beach promenade just outside the door. The view from the room out on the Sea is great, it's a perfect place to unwind."
