"Fantastic staff made our short vacation very comfortable. We v got a lot of extremely useful advice which help us to plan better our journey. Rooms were always clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Terrace is great but no tome to use"

"Had a wonderful stay at the Katelya Hotel . Location is great , rooms cleaner then many higher class hotels in Istanbul , breakfast was outstanding, but what truly made the stay so memorable was the staff , especially Malik who was so kind and helpful , and really made us feel like it's a home away from home . Will definitely be back !"

"Our stay at Katelya Hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. What really made the difference was the amazing staff — always smiling, kind, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their helpful tips and genuine hospitality made our trip to Istanbul even more special. Thank you for everything! We will gladly come back again."

"Everything about this hotel is great! And it's all about its people, just upon arriving, we got a detailed overview about the possible paths we could do to make the most of exploring Istanbul, then we got a beautiful surprise in the way our room was arranged. Then breakfast was great, with lots of variety and a final surprise during our checkout. I really cannot recommend this hotel enough"

"We stayed at the hotel for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent — everything is nearby. It’s very easy to get from the airport by public transport, and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops around. The sea and the ferry terminal are only about a five-minute walk away, which was very convenient for us. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. There is a kettle, drinking water and a fridge, and the beds are very comfortable. There is no lift, so if you are travelling with small children or heavy luggage, it’s something to keep in mind. The windows face a street with bars, so it’s not completely quiet in the evening — but that’s also part of the lively atmosphere of the area. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. For us, the value for money at this hotel was excellent, and we would happily stay here again."

"The best host ever in my traveling. I hurt my knee the day before I arrived. The host took me to the pharmacy in his own car and then brought me to the hospital to see the doctor, helped me communicate with the doctor in Arabic. After I received X-ray examination, he took me to the pharmacy again and bought the medication for me. After we returned to the hotel, I rested in my room. His wife brought me dinner and breakfast the next morning. When I left, he insisted that the meals were their treat, for free. I would love to recommend them to all travelers. They treat the travelers not only as their guests, but also as friends. The family has held the hotel for 14 years. It’s a typical local house, walkable to everywhere. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet town."
