"The room was roomy, clean, well furnished and close to the beach and pool. The food and drinks were excellent and well priced. The staff were friendly and attentive. The two young Thai women who spoke clear English and managed reception were extremely helpful arranging transport and our tour bookings. At least one of them had a university degree in hospitality and it showed!"

"The mattress was a bit too firm for us. Because the only place to watch TV was from the bed, the screen was far too small for the room. We had to watch Netflix on our iPad! A comfy sofa would be great addition to the room."

"Nice hotel in a great beachfront location. Bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good sized room, which was spotless and cleaned daily. I had booked one of the cheaper rooms but upgraded as didn't like the layout, location and size."

"We loved the location right on the beach Kong Dao.Beautiful pool nice bright room on the 1st floor.Staff were very friendly.Great beachbar called the Majestic great music.The beach is mostly flat and long great for a walk/run.Minimarts and a good choice of restaurants. On and off the beach.We booked for 3 nights ended up staying 7.Very relaxed place no hawkers no beds on the beach no loud music.It might be too quiet for some people we loved it."

"The house could use some renovation. It's a bit outdated. But when the weather is this good you're only in your room for shower/sleep. The breakfast gets repetitive after a few days. We went to a nice bakery next to the mosque for breakfast/lunch"

"The property is located at a nice beach which was not busy. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and friendly. The food at the restaurant was good, but would have preferred a buffet for breakfast. There were other restaurants at the same beach and nearby. This is a great hotel for a peaceful holiday, I enjoyed some quiet time reading and having a drink on the bean bags in the evening whilst enjoying the sea breeze."

"The a/c over the beds made for a very uncomfortable sleep. The breakfast is very limited so try once and then go elsewhere as infinitely better offerings available on the beach. Our hot water & TV didn’t work so we were moved to another room. Our 2nd room TV was stuck on a live feed of the Vatican for the entire week long stay.It didn’t bother us too much as we have other devices but would be hellish if you actually wanted to watch TV. However we didn’t stay in room much due to the activities nearby."
