"This is far more like an AirBnB than a typical Booking com property. The overall package is fine. The room is large but a little bit shabby and in need of love and a pot of paint. But that aside, the facilities were in line with price when compared to other local properties but with the added benefit of a larger than normal room and full kitchen inc toaster kettle and hotplate. The apartment block is well run and their is an 'essentials' shop even at night. In addition there is a very nice little Bistro with local fayre and portions adapted to international taste! The location is a little out of town 80 bath in ride share."
"The apartment in general is a bit shabby and in need of a refurb, particularly in the bathroom.. That said, can't imagine getting this price if it was perfect. This would be an excellent longer term rent for a family or small group wanting to cook."

"We were allocated apartment 402 and were very comfortable in there as a small family. Enough crockery/cutlery/utensils and an oven/hob/toaster meant we could cook full meals. Wifi was stable, air con was in good condition, communal washing machines in the building for 30thb, restaurant on the ground floor served a good variety of cheap Thai food, small convenience store beside reception was handy for buying basics. Shame about the poor reviews as this is a fantastic-value stay in Chiang Mai, all things considered! Yes, furnishings are a little worn, but for the price we paid, who cares! There are plenty other accommodation options in the city with higher-spec rooms if that is what you require, but they charge accordingly."

"This is a privately owned apartment in a complex. It is ground floor in a quiet corner. The apartment is large and is modern with every conceivable appliance you could wish for in the kitchen/lounge.including large fridge, washing machine, hob and microwave. The Bedroom can be separated by ajoining doors. Bed huge and comfortable. Wardrobe large with lots of hangers. There's a safe in the lounge. Bathroom has a non slip walk in shower. There are separate AC units in the lounge/kitchen and Bedroom which is a great idea. You can sit out frint or back. Now the apartment is like a shop. It has games beach stuff sun hats even a couple of crash helmets if you want to rent a bike. The Pool is large and well designed with plenty of sun beds. 10 mins walk to beach.What I also liked was it was next door to Retro Sports Bar which showed all the Foootball Matches and had draft Guinness and next to that a great Kebab Shop."

"Per and Sirilak's apartment at Kamala Regent is lovely. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided helpful information on request. Very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment and friendly people to deal with. Walking distance to just about everything under 1km. Some local coffee and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. On-site facilities such as pool, restaurant and gym very nice and clean. Security were happy to call a taxi for us when we weren't up for walking. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for making our stay in Kamala memorable 💖"

"Wabi Sabi Hotel is a winner. Big rooms, comfy beds, and friendly service. The best part? The "5-minute walk" rule. 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the night and fruit markets, and 5 minutes to the Big C supermarket. With great restaurants and massages just around the corner, you don't even need a taxi. We loved our 5-night stay!"
"The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short home stay or even longer. Good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a nicely set up kitchen. The air conditioner works well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and first thing in the morning and hear the jungle. It is a bit out of the way, so it is quite quiet, which was perfect for us. You will need the use of Grab or hire your own transport to get in and out of Kamala and beyond. The pool was nice and a lovely area to chill out in."
