"The hotel is located just next to the airport, which is perfect option for evening flight from Lisboa (avoiding hustle taxi dark ride 15 min. to the center of the city). Location is very safe, there is a simple but tasty restaurant inside the hotel and the other one just next to the hotel (Tia Nanda), so no worries being hungry (fish, octopus, chicken, and always fried banana + rice). Staff can help you change euros to dobras with absolute fair rate - just write a message ahead and agree on amount needed. Breakfast is very pleasant - quite and relaxing (omelette, fruits, juice, yogurt, bread, butter). Lunch and dinner: fish and octopus were amazing and drinks were nice and cold (bear and all softs)."

"Please be aware that if you come with bigger group, you will wait for your meals to be served - which is OK, as bigger groups are not common at Sao Tome and local restaurants tries keep all food fresh (that is exactly what you want) - it takes time to prepare for all at the same time. This is not negative comment, just short notice :-)"

"La proximité avec l’aéroport (son emplacement est parfait pour loger près de l’aéroport, il n’y a que 3 minutes entre le terminal et l’hôtel en voiture) et le restaurant pour dîner sur place. Le lit était confortable. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent."

"A wonderful , basic cabin located in the arguably the best location on the island . Surrounded by acres of exotic fruit and native forest beyond. Birdlife is prolific. This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

"A good budget choice in a country where affordable options are limited. Each room has an AC, some rooms have a fridge. The manager Cassio speaks fluent English (rare in Sao Tome) and is very responsive to WhatsApp messages. The rooms operate like self contained apartments, you'll have a key and can come and go as you please (there's no reception so you won't feel like you're being watched"

"The people, particularly Mister José Manuel. The kindest, the warmest person, always available to help and be of service. It was great talking to him about the History and Nature. The breakfast with delicious local fruits, fresh bread and eggs and of course, the coffee!"

"We are a family of 6 and we spent 20 days in this 3 bedroom spacious and comfortable house with excellent facilities and everything worked well starting from the air conditioning in all of the rooms, the standby generator, kitchen appliances ie: boiler, washing machine, fridge, kettle, microwave, cooker etc, big smart TV with Netflix amazon prime in the living room. Located in the city centre and close to the shops and restaurants with easy street parking. The house also have a well maintained private front garden where residents can relax.. The house has been recently refurbished."

"Price quality wise this is the place to stay on the island. You’ll need transport however, the restaurant next door was so good we ate there three nights in a row. Absolutely spotless! The pool is a real treat after a long day of adventures. All the staff are very kind and the breakfast was good too."

"We had a beautiful room with a private bathroom for €65, including a fantastic breakfast buffet. The host is very dedicated and helpful. He also rented us a motorbike for €25 per day. Dinner is available upon request. Furthermore, the owner speaks good English. It was a wonderful stay."
