"The location was brilliant, the staff very friendly, and I loved the complimentary tea, coffee and fika. The breakfast was fantastic, you could be as healthy or overindulgent as you like. So many extras, I was not expecting anything like the choice on offer. The staff at Roy’s were also very welcoming. I value this experience more than soulless newer hotels. This was a nostalgic place with great food and excellent service."
"The hotel is a little dated, yes , but it’s spotless, and very well kept. If you are sensitive to noice maybe ask for a room away from the roadside as it was a little noisy. But saying that I asked for a room with a bath and I got it. So it’s what you make it really. I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’m also a bit of a carpet phobe, but as I previously mentioned the cleaners do a sterling job keeping the place spit spot. There was also some really cool old boooms on each floor to peruse. Overall there’s far more to like than dislike at this hotel. I would definately rebook."
