The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.

"Great snorkelling around the over water bungalows, lots of turtles feeding on the seagrass. Beautiful location, so relaxing. Beach access bungalows are very nice, newly renovated, comfy bed. Pool was awesome. Appreciated the sea bird conservation in the island. I actually loved the sounds of the Puffin de Pacifique birds at night - I thought it was a child crying at first lol… bungalows have earplugs, luckily! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. Got a generous late check out, service was really good from the boat to the front desk to the restaurant and bar. Everyone speaks a very high level of English, not sure where the negative comments about staff come from - they were the best I experienced in NC by far."

It’s an expensive buffet dinner (around $80aud) but the choices were really good, esp the fresh seafood and all the desserts. It’s just not worth it if you don’t eat huge dinners. Order à la carte options instead, but nice to try the buffet just once. Consider BYO noodles and alcohol if you want to save money, buying food and drinks from the restaurant and bar adds up quick. Would have been good to be able to lock/unlock the back beach access door from outside with a key.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"Structure is nice, there is so many things to do, service great everyone always with a big smile and generous."

Rooms a bit small, 2 small elevators for all the people take some time. There is an huge amount of food but i for exampme dont eat meat, there is 10 diferent meat plates and only 1 fish option.

"This was our fourth Christmas holidays at Vila Bicuda. Everything was excellent, as always, except that we were accommodated in a house that had recently been renovated, and there was a strong smell of paint in the bedroom."

The beach is amazing, all rooms have perfect views. Staff are very attentive. Breakfast has the best choices, one of the best I have had. Michelin star restaurant is fabulous would definitely recommend."

"The resort is beautiful! Location is stunning - in it's own area so it's super peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean. There's an ATM, restaurant, and general store a short 6-8min walk away. The gardens on the grounds are very well kept and really beautiful. The room was lovely, spacious, and as per the photos online. The amenities are great and wifi is good. The staff were amazing! Such beautiful, lovely, kind people and very accommodating. The food at the resort was fantastic! Very serene and peaceful place with beautiful staff and comfortable common areas (pool, bar, restaurant etc.). We didn't have time to explore the area but I know there's beautiful sights/to-do's nearby so next time we will be coming back! 100% recommend!"

The water pressure of the shower is very low, and you have to pay if you want to use a pool towel. Location is great but if you can't/prefer not to walk to the little shops just remember to bring some cash.

"리노베이션 한 곳에 숙박했는데 방2 화1,화+욕실1 4인기준 방이였는데 생각보다 ... 씻는곳이 한군데라 불편했어요 .. 다음에는 욕실 2개 짜리로 이용해야겠어요"

"Everything was excellent.the food was very delicious everyday has every menu (that’s what we like it very much).The staff also especially in the reception was very nice and approachable.on our first day it was a little bit confusing to go in our room but there is a man a very nice man who came with us to show our room and how to get in there.Our stay was definitely perfect we came there to have a relaxation,forget the tiredness in work and also to enjoy the kids and it was really really worth it. We gonna come back for sure."

"From the moment you walk in, you can tell this is a special place. The room view is absolutely spectacular, making it hard to even leave the balcony, and the room itself is kept spotlessly clean and neat. I really appreciated the thoughtful room accessories and how easy it was to get from the room directly to the restaurant without any hassle. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and fresh, providing the perfect start to the day. What truly made the stay, though, was the lovely staff—they are so polite, welcoming, and genuine that you feel right at home. "Staff were great, Facilities were great, Room clean & a good size, Food very good, The grounds really well maintained."

Our room was cold, Maintenance came to sort it out but he didn't really know much about the thermostat, said he sorted it and it won't take long to heat uo, but never did, wasn't ideal with a little baby, said baby was asleep by time we realised it wasn't heating up. A small blemish on what was otherwise a really nice stay.

The food was somewhat repetitive and sometimes bland.

Only couple of persons spoke english. Several restaurants in hotel, but you could only book online with one. When you come to hotel everything is in spanish, luckily I had colleague who could speak spanish so he was able to translate how to book breakfast, lunches and dinners etc.

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

The shower I used was really small.

"Beautiful hotel in a super location for Petra...super efficient staff and facilities...the complimentary biscuits on the room were a nice touch.... Food in the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at will definitely return."
