"Nuno is a gracious host! He met us and showed us to a beautiful room. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The decoration is very rustic and just right. The whole property is spectacular but the room was perfect. We chose to have supper provided and it was lovely. Certainly choose this option if available when staying! We had a good night's sleep in a beutiful environment and can certainly recommend Quinta da Dourada to anyone who is thinking of visiting. Oh! I nearly forgot to say the Shower was awesome!"

"Different varieties for breakfast, bed is super comfy, cottage is super cozy, and the dogs are super friendly (especially Ruka, he stayed in front of our cottage the whole night and also took us around to see the sheep and protected my dog from the other dogs who are a little more active). The view is a hugeee plus. Love it so much i'll definitely go back again."

"The outdoor space was incredible! My daughter couldn't get enough of the pool! Having so many different settings, the sheep, the dog - provided plenty of entertainment for the little one (which was the goal). The breakfast was good (the staff puts the items in the fridge the day before and delivers the bread in the morning). The apartment was rustic (as you'd expect), but very comfortable. A bonus: air conditioning in the living room and bedroom."
"The bathroom in the apartment we stayed in was tiny—and it was difficult to fit all the toiletries in it and shower a 2-year-old. But for just 2 nights, it wasn't a problem."
"We had a wonderful one-night stay at this peaceful gem. The owner was warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated the great conversations. The pool area was perfect for relaxing with a glass of their wine after a long drive. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, all enjoyed in the beautiful garden. Highly recommended!"

"Rustic traditional. This is a traditional Quinta. Don’t expect multiple staff catering to your every need or room service at 11 at nigh. It’s a small but wonderful place with great amenities in a rural setting. I had my morning walk with the hotels dog to accompany me so instant 10/10. BTW he stayed for breakfast and enjoyed multiple tummy rubs."
