This eco-lodge is set in the Arrábida Nature Reserve and features rooms with sea views from their private patios. There is a salt-water pool, tennis court and holistic spa. Built with natural materials and offering free Wi-Fi, Casal Do Frade’s romantic rooms are decorated with wooden floors. They include en-suite bathrooms with pink granite cabinets. After a refreshing swim in the pool, guests can join yoga or pilates classes in the gardens. It is also possible to book a massage at the spa or to play some billiards in the lounge. Guests can rent bicycles and bike up to Meco Beach, a 20-minute ride away. With free parking, the city of Sesimbra is a 10-minute drive away.

"Pretty much everything! Excellent location, very close to the village but far enough for a complete silence and calmness. Very relaxing ambiance and amazing hosts that try as much as possible to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as it can be. Loved the "pet friendly" environment. If you are reading this, just book it! You won't' regret it!"

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were equally wonderful. The pool was absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it 100%!”"

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."
"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Quiet, clean, comfy, friendly, good breakfast that has everything one could think of. Hikers of the fisherman trail should consider the small detour to reach this outstanding place. We hitched there and the very friendly hosts drove us back the next morning (~2km)."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
