"Perfect for us. It was very quiet area and had everything we needed and more . A car is useful but not essential. Taxi/uber was very easy to book and good value ."

"Had really enjoyable stay in Alsouk. Beautiful, peaceful setting with great pool and garden and covered outdoor dining and seating area. Character filled villa with all amenities needed, found beds v comfortable. Hosts easily contactable and quick to resolve very minor issue (damaged sun umbrella replaced by the lovely Paula). Quarteria beach and Vilamoura Marina less than 10 mins in Uber which were never more than 5min wait. Under 30 mins from Faro airport so easy get to. Minimarket 5min walk away, Spar 10- 15min walk. Other larger stores 10mins/€4-5 in Uber. Perfect for relaxing chill out break (and right beside golf course if that's your torture!). Was a little wary of bank transfer payment method initially as normally pay through Bookings, but Alex quick to respind to all queries; no issues and deposit returned within 48hrs! Would absolutely love to visit again!"

"While adequete, one of bedroom aircon units not quite as effective as other rooms which were excellent, even in 35-40C. Room was not unusable, just did not cool as well in comparision to others."

"Everything was available in the house, all aspects were cover from the kitchen to the abundant towels for the bathrooms and the pool. Wifi , TV , Poolside chairs and outdoor eating are all were brilliant. One thing, My 84 year old father had a recommendation, could the house have egg cups for his boiled eggs in the morning 😆"
