"Excellent location, hotel was nicely decorated, room was spacious, clean and warm . Lovely hot water , massive water pressure ( people from England will understand why I am pointing this out ) Staff very friendly and helpful. Food - hotel says „best breakfast in town „ and I couldn’t agree more . It was very quiet in the hotel - outside a bit busy and noisy ( only Friday and Saturday night ) Building is in historical part of the city - it’s 3 floor building with no lift . So definitely not for a family with babies . Would defo come back ."
"As there is no carpet in the room - you do need slippers . It’s cold outside , snow and sand and salt everywhere. Shores are wet and dirty . Can’t be wearing them in the room . So you definitely need to have a pair of slippers or warm socks ."

"No lift lol 3rd floor is a long long way up! Walls are very thin. We had some excessively noisy neighbours but to be fair to the staff I sent a frustrated email to reception at 5am and they were straight on it telling the noisy guests to pipe down, which they did! Impressive. Incredible value for money. Just try and avoid the 3rd floor unless you're pretty fit!"

"Steep stairs, 3 floors up with heavy luggage , no lift (that is stated, so not the hotels fault) . We didn't like to ask the receptionist for assistance as felt it unfair to expect a young lady to lift heavy cases up 3 floors & didn't appear to be any male staff about . A kind gentleman ( resident ) offered to assist my husband on seeing us struggle. So all was good."
