"It was exactly like it was described and pictured. Roger was very helpful in picking us up and getting us settled. He showed us where the store was and where to eat. This was very helpful as we knew that arriving on a Sunday that most places would be closed. What we didn’t know was most places were closed until Thursday!!! So we basically ate at the one restaurant for lunch each day and made pasta for dinner. It was ok, but it was not what we expected. We updated some of the google reviews to show the correct hours etc. We spent a lot of time on the bikes going to places only to arrive and see that they were closed until Thursday."

"Beautiful sunsets. Beach close. Very modern/new house. Bikes available to tour the island. Staff was reasonable but did not offer enough information, for example, to let us know that everything including ALL restaurants and markets would be closed the day after we arrived."

"I do not recommend staying in the village at all. There are virtually no restaurants. One night, there was one pizza restaurant, and for the other nights, our only option was to cook using food from the sparsely stocked market. Also, everything was closed on Sunday. Fortunately, someone told us this Saturday, or we would have had no food for at least 24 hours. I recommend staying at the Pearl or Tikehau Paradise. The food options would be better and the motus prettier than the village."
