This colonial-style mansion is situated at the edge of Arequipa’s centre, 7 blocks from Plaza de Armas. It provides accommodation with private balcony, free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms at Posada El Castillo are designed with a mix of wood. Large doors open onto the balcony providing city views. Rooms are equipped with cable TV and the private bathrooms have hot water 24/7. "The hotel itself was a lovely colonial style building with tasteful furnishing and lovely gardens. The restaurant was lovely and had an Incan burial site in an alcove to the restaurant which was interesting. The room was large with a lovely small balcony to sit out on during the day. The owner was absolutely lovely and helped with taxi reservations. Breakfasts were good without being lavish, the Granola was particularly good"
"The bed was a bit firm for my wife's liking. The main disappointment was that the swimming pool was not functioning and that was one of my main reasons for booking the hotel"
