"We absolutely loved everything! The owner let us check in early after we arrived very early in the morning from Ecuador. The room was cleaned during our stay and had everything we needed. The location is lovely and calm. We had nice cocktails and cozy dinners at the location as well, with the main part of town just a short stroll on the beach away."

"Really kind and thoughtful owners who went above and beyond to help me (including a check-in at 3AM). In fact, all the staff were excellent and contributed to a warm, family atmosphere. After 2 months travelling solo, it was lovely to have a home-from-home experience. Good breakfasts, amazing location, good value for money and the best pizza I have had for a very long time. Sad to leave."

"I’d heard Mancora can be a party place so I looked for a quiet place and Blue Ocean was perfect. Right by the beach, has a swimming pool, breakfast included, and beach bar. I could relax as I had everything I needed!"

"The location is excellent just at the beach and the pool is really nice. The staff is kind and friendly. Bonfire every night. Service in bar varying in quality and quite a few misunderstandings but always friendly and talkative. The young lady in bar and also cleaning was extremely efficient and kind."

"The outdoor area behind the pool was a bit messy. Would be easy to make it look more attractive. We had a bad Wi-Fi in the period we stayed but it didn’t seem like it was the norm. It got fixed the last day."
