"Fantastic stay, felt very social being in such a small camp and the staff looked after us very well. The drive there was good fun, a 4x4 is a must. We did a camel ride and dune bashing, both were worthwhile."

"This place is simply magical. Just four super equipped tents, including a fantastic bathroom and other facilities. The preparations for our stay in the desert were extremely well communicated in advance, so there were no unanswered questions. We were lucky enough to spend a lot of time with the owner and his girlfriend. Ibrahim and Karla, thank you very much for your company. We enjoyed it very much."

"Very enjoyable stay, would suggest 2 nights to get the full experience - several other groups only stayed 1. Very peaceful, very different and thoroughly recommended. The staff (Harun and Farhad) were very good. Also would recommend the dune bashing with Amur who we also had very interesting conversations with about the Oman way of life."

"Very nice camp, very personal because of the small size. Very friendly staff, great food. Comfortable tents with bathroom, you can take a shower while looking at the stars. Really enjoyed the dune bashing including watching the sunset with Ibrahim. A stairway leading into the dunes, for watching the sunrise and for sandboarding, which is fun! As 4x4 newbie the road to the camp was pretty exciting, but certainly a recommendation as part of the experience."

"The hotel was absolutely amazing. We stayed 4 nights initially (+another 4 nights after our flight had been cancelled). The staff was amazing and friendly (check in done at 11am as we arrived very early, they are very accomodating). Every single member of staff was super nice and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing (lot of choice, real barrista, chef making omelletes etc.). The rooms are super big and confortable. The swimming pool on the rooftop is amazing with a beautiful view. The gym was also very nice and open 24h. The Jacuzzi was great and there is also a hamam. I absolutely recommend. The night buffet was also very good but a bit expensive if you don't book it with the room."

"You can tell that the property is new. The flat was spacious and had a kitchen. The bathroom was a bit average, but the bedroom was very comfortable. A plus was the iron in the room. The property is off the beaten track, but close to the centre of Nizwa by car. There is a great restaurant with Yemeni food nearby."

"Amazing Vila with 3 ensuite bedrooms, large living room and kitchen equipped with everything you need. There is a lovely swimming pool and the Vila is right next to Rotana hotel and restaurants. You can get free access to Sandyz beach. The owner was very responsive and provided additional towels and info. We will visit again."

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"Very stylish accommodation in the heart of a mountainous area with an incredible view of the village on the opposite slope. I enjoyed the "stony" fortress-like appearance of the building. Amazing views everywhere! From the sofa just at the entrance into the room, from the dining area, from different terraces the place offers, amazing indeed !! Very tasty breakfast included in the price and excellent dinner for the additional charge. We enjoyed it very much. I definitely recommend staying there for two nights, you can explore the little gorge not far and the village one day and do Snake Canyon the other. Very polite, I would say extremely polite staff and welcoming owner !! Amazing'"
