"Well equipped and very comfortable, we were made very welcome. We didn't stay very long as we had a tight schedule but would recommend. Very welcoming host."

"The host was so helpful as my husband has MS carring our bags. Also we were up graded to a king room comfy bed with a patio view which was lovely. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The Lodge and the grounds were immaculately kept. The breakfast was amazing so much food to choose from."

"Oak Lodge was a beautiful house and we were greeted by Robin when we got there. Our room was spacious and warm and spotlessly clean as was everywhere. There were thoughtful kind gestures everywhere. A sitting room with tea, coffee and biscuits provided with a fridge, microwave and plates . Comfortable sofas and a huge television for guests to relax with a balcony and stunning view. The garden was beautiful and breakfast the next morning freshly cooked along with pastries, fruit and yoghurt. I would highly recommend staying here we had a great time. Thank you Robin for being so kind we had a great time"

"The grounds and garden are stunning. The host/owner (Robin) is welcoming and helpful, and full of insight. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and some of the best coffee we have had on our trip."
"We found the check-in time a little restrictive as our itinerary is jam-packed, and we had to cut our plans to meet the early deadline (most other places have allowed us to arrive later in the evening). The beds are not as high quality as we typically like... But the pillows were great, and we both slept well. There is no air conditioning, and it was a warm night, so we left the windows open... Which attracted numerous moths. (I still scratch my head at NZ lack of screens!)"
"The breakfast I had was one of the most delicious I have ever had. The host was so helpful and friendly,a genuinely nice person. definitely recommend staying here ,everything was immaculate. Made to feel welcome, bringing wife back here next year. can’t recommend it enough."
