"Great location, great facilities and very clean. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Good size and fabulous view. The bike trail is only metres away."

"Not really an issue but the water is a bit brownish but we didn’t mind as we brought drinking water with us. And as we also live in a dairy farm we understand this can sometimes happen."
"Everything about this home is amazing. An incredible place to switch off. So many things to do in close proximity or simply stay and admire the views out to the Tasman Sea. Very well equipped kitchen and BBQ is a bonus. Hosts were fab, communication friendly and efficient"

"The view fills your soul and I am sure it could sustain you. The house was warm and clean and very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and crockery. The host very generously allowed us to stay an extra night as the roads were closed due to a weather event and we could not get home"

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Murray’s on Mary was an excellent choice of stay for us . It had all the home comforts you could wish for with bests that were so comfortable you didn’t want to get up .. Showers are often hit & miss when away from home but this one was a hit all the way . We loved Ziggy & the 1950’s coffee table was a delight ."
