We had come from unexpected travel plans, and the hosts A & F were not only erudite, compassionate gentlemen; they were kind, caring, and generous with their time. "Clean, bright, well looked after. The hosts were superb. Breakfast was excellent in the main house. We walked the grounds 22 acres of hills, grass and great views. Super quiet with no outside noises."

"This property, including the apartment we stayed in was superbly kept, with modern facilities, beautiful views, comfortable and the hosts, Andrew and Francis were the most obliging people. Breakfasts were great and we could not wish for anyhing more. The hosts gave us an incredible amount of information about the local area and attractions. They could not have been more helpful. We think this is the best accommodaton we have ever stayed at in our five visits for holidays in New Zealand. We would definitely like to return."

"Location was amazing. We were on top of a hill and could see Whangarei Heads out in the distance from our room. We enjoyed having breakfast with the owners and having a good chat with them in their own house. Couldn't of been more happy with our choice to stay there. It was a lovely surprise when we arrived."
