Commodore Motor Lodge features spacious ground floor apartments in a large garden area. It is a 50-minute drive from Mount Hutt Ski Field and 1-hour drive from central Christchurch and Christchurch Airport. Guests receive free Wi-Fi. The studios and apartments at the Commodore Motor Lodge include fully equipped kitchens and a Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. Free secure parking is available. Facilities at Commodore Motor Lodge include a children's playground, laundry facilities and a garage for motorbikes and trailers. Commodore Motor Lodge provides easy access to Lake Hood, Rangitata and Rakaia fishing waters and the Ashburton Walkway. Guests can enjoy a round of golf at the nearby Ashburton Golf Club. We no longer accept sports group bookings.

"Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Mini kitchen well fitted out and milk provided. A laundry room that was useful."

"We were in the double deluxe room. It was spacious for the 2 of us. There were 2 desks and enough chairs. There were also 2 recliners. The kitchenette has all the necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery for our use. We had the room next to the swimming pool. It was quiet. There was also a self serve laundry on site."
