"Modern and comfortable, lovely private outdoor area and the spa bath was an added bonus as was the hot plates for cooking."

"I have stayed here before. That really sums it up. This place is so good. I come back again and again. An amazing restaurant over the road that you need to book in for to go to. Pretty close to the town but it’s on a nice quiet road it’s a big and comfortable room rooms have a bath and a shower."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
