"The gardening and greenery in the area was maintained so well with so much effort of the owner. The kitchen facilities are particularly impressive, really worth cooking for some meals. We really enjoyed the time cooking there and spending time with family, playing badminton on the lovely green field. Seeng our kid running around in such free space so happily made our day already. The lake area is stunning. So beautifully maintained."

"The mirrors in room and the wall painting which made me feel uncomfortable ; the top floor feels a bit creepy. Other than that, everything was nearly perfect."

"Our family of four enjoyed the beautiful garden, yard games, and comfortable home for Christmas Eve. The home is just outside of town and is perfect for exploring nearby restaurants, museums, beaches & the little blue penguin sanctuary. Tea by the pond Christmas morning was picture perfect. The hosts are very kind and we would recommend this property to our friends & family."

"Everything! The gardens are a credit to Miles and Rebecca. The house is immaculate with everything provided. This was the best accommodation that we experienced in our 3 plus week tour of NZ. We would highly recommend this property- we only wish we had booked for more than one night!"

"The house was spacious, and clean. Pleasant decor in the bedrooms. The grounds were beautiful the lake, the garden, very well kept. The property was equipped with appropriate utensils, coffee cups and more than we expected."

"Like many Airbnb‘s, the couches were not comfortable. The lounge room in the upstairs area became quite warm, perhaps a split system Aircon would be beneficial.."

"Amazing property set in a beautiful location. My son enjoyed going out on the lake in the boat. Miles was such a nice man and spent sometime with us by the lake chatting. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we are planning another visit later this year. Highly recommend this place."
