"Management, Staff, Facilities, Location all outstanding and exceeded expectations. A little oasis of peace amongst the chaos of Kathmandu. Beautiful old building that was once a Royal Residence. The owner/manager oversees the operation of the hotel with passion & pride. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for it's service and facilities. The variety of food available all day is exceptional."

"A grand property, set back from the street, removed from the noise…with a Buddhist meditation centre and Ayurvedic yoga? Yes please! Good gym, courtyard, bar, food…lovely spot to stay for a few days."

"We loved absolutely everything! The building is really beautiful, well located and the rooms are super comfortable. The staff is great, really helpful and nice. We stayed here 3 times and it was perfect each time! The breakfast buffet or a la carte is awesome and you can take it in the lovely courtyard. 10/10!!!"

"A lovely hotel - the courtyard in particular offers a lovely sanctuary in the middle of the busy city. The staff are attentive and helpful and I was made to feel very welcome. The morning yoga’s sessions were fantastic. Finally, the food was delicious - breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and the momos were excellent! Thank you!"

"This was my second time staying at this establishment (Nepali Ghar), but first time staying in the Seto Ghar wing. The experience was just as good. Rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, modern bathrooms, and have luxurious bedding. The restaurant serves good, clean food, and is in a beautiful and serene setting. The breakfast buffet was great and my kids loved it! We also loved the daily complimentary tea and biscuits at the roof top lounge. Overall an excellent hotel and would highly recommend!"
